Mini Cheesy Scones Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the flour mixture.
  5. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well combined.
