Doritos Taco Recipe

Enjoy the crunchy deliciousness of Doritos combined with savory taco flavors in this easy-to-make recipe!

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 bag Doritos (any flavor)

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir well to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. While the beef is simmering, prepare your toppings. Chop the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Shred the cheese if it’s not already shredded.
  4. Crush the Doritos in the bag into small pieces, but not too fine. You want them to still be crunchy.
  5. To assemble the Doritos tacos, open a bag of Doritos and crush them slightly. Then, using scissors, cut open the top of the bag.
  6. Spoon the taco meat into the bag over the crushed Doritos.
  7. Add your desired toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
  8. Use a fork to mix everything together inside the bag, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  9. Enjoy your Doritos tacos straight from the bag with a fork or spoon!

Note: Feel free to customize your Doritos tacos with additional toppings like jalapeños, black olives, or guacamole for extra flavor.
