  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
