Indulge in the creamy delight of Chicken Alfredo, a classic Italian-American dish that promises to elevate your dining experience. With tender chicken and velvety Alfredo sauce coating each strand of pasta, this dish is sure to become a favorite at your dinner table.

  • 1 lb (450g) fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240ml) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow the cream to heat through but not boil.
  5. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat it evenly with the Alfredo sauce. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it with the chicken and Alfredo sauce until well combined and heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy your homemade Chicken Alfredo with crusty bread or a side salad for a complete meal!
